Singapore Airshow 2010: A showcase of UK Aerospace Excellence

Between 2- 5 February 2010, the Singapore Airshow 2010 will showcase 41 leading UK Aerospace companies. Billed as one of the world’s top three airshows, the Singapore Airshow is expected to attract over 40,000 representatives from the aerospace and defence sector travelling from 120 countries.
The Singapore Airshow 2010 is Asia’s largest aerospace and defence event. It provides a unique opportunity to promote Britain’s aerospace industry as the No 1 in Europe, second only to the US globally and highlight the expertise and potential partnerships that are available.
The strength of the UK sector is reflected in the excellence of the member companies, the high-skilled people employed as well as the innovation that is delivered and will continue to be delivered in future programmes.
The UK’s representation is supported by key industry leaders, Sir Kevin Smith, (Chief Executive of GKN) UK Business Ambassador; and The Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Sir Stephen Dalton; as well as Mr Paul Clark MP, UK Parliamentary Under Secretary of State, Department of Transport.
UK Trade & Investment has enhanced the UK Companies presence in Singapore by providing further opportunities to promote themselves and meet others in the sector, which accumulates in a major networking industry reception hosted by the British High Commissioner at his Residence.
