Driving in UK

Can I drive in the UK on a Singapore or other non-British driving licence?

If you are a visitor holding a full car and/or motorcycle driving entitlement you can drive any category of vehicle shown on your licence for up to 12 months from the date you last entered the UK. However, if you hold full entitlement to drive large lorries or buses, you are only allowed to drive temporarily imported vehicles for a period of 12 months. You may continue to travel in and out of Great Britain indefinitely provided you do not stay more than 12 months in any one period.

Consult the following website as to whether you can validly drive in the UK: Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency  at http://www.dvla.gov.uk/ or enquire by e-mail at drivers.dvla@gtnet.gov.uk .
