Our High Commissioner
A message from the High Commissioner
Welcome to the new website of the British High Commission in Singapore.
On this site you can access information about the services we provide (visas, passports, consular assistance and travel advice). You can download the relevant forms. And you can see our opening times and how to find us, or how to visit the Visa Application Centre in Robinson Road.
You can also learn more about our activities in Singapore across a wide range of fields - political, economic, commercial, science and education. There are links to many sources of information about the UK.
The two countries enjoy a very close relationship. The UK is the largest foreign investor in Singapore. Some 22,000 Britons live here, and nearly half a million visit each year. Around 100,000 Singaporeans visit Britain every year, to work, study and holiday.
British citizens living in Singapore may wish to register your presence with the High Commission so that you can be more easily contacted in an emergency.
I was personally delighted to return to Singapore in February 2007, for my second tour here. As you will see from this website, it is an active, busy post.
If you have any comments on this website, or other issues relating to the High Commission, I will be taking a personal interest in any feedback received.
