Training Gateway, a 'one-stop shop' to source corporate, vocational and executive training from UK Universities, exhibited at the HR Summit from 6-7 May 2009 at Suntec City Singapore. 

The HR Summit brings an unprecedented line up of top international speakers and talent experts along with presentations from business and HR leaders from some of the worlds greatest employers. 

Ms Amanda Selvaratnam from Training Gateway was happy to receive considerable number of interest from the public enquiring about their training programmes during the two days exhibition.  

In addition to the exhibition, UKTI Singapore organised a networking reception for Ms Selvaratnam to meet local contacts from the education and training sectors. Participants who attended the reception found Training Gateway's service useful and some indicated that they would use Training Gateway to link up with UK universities to provide various training courses.

Prior to Ms Amanda Selvaratnam visit to Singapore, she commissioned an OMIS through UKTI Singapore for a visit programme. Ms Selvaratnam, who also Heads the Continuing Education Department at University of York, met contacts that were interested in University of York's programmes. She made good progress at the meetings, and is confident of successful deals with some of the organisations.
