To extend the revenue base from overseas markets AMG Systems highlighted Singapore as a key target country within the South Asian market.

What help and services company received:
AMG Systems had previously commissioned OMIS reports in other markets but wanted to take a slightly different approach with the Singaporean market having taken advice from UKTI Singapore. 

UKTI Singapore:

• organised a programme of meetings with major business partners, strategic distributors and systems integrators/installers.   
• provided information on market entry strategies and competitor information.   
• met with AMG Systems both pre and post the visit to give a thorough market insight/de-briefing.

Company achievements:
AMG pointed out they would not have met with such strategic partners, achieved the results and gained such a comprehensive overview without the assistance of the UK T & I team. As a direct result of the OMIS report and the visit to Singapore, AMG received their first order within one month of the visit.

AMG concludes that as an exporting company they can address the South Asia market directly from Singapore and this will provide a great opportunity to extend the revenue base.
